About Classroom Picker
Built for teachers: save each class roster once and it's stored on your own device — no accounts, no logins, and no student data ever leaves your browser. During the lesson, tap Pick a student for a fair, random cold-call.
Turn on remove after each pick so everyone gets a turn before anyone repeats, and reset the round with one button when you've been all the way through.
How to use it
- Create a class and paste your student names.
- Press Save class — it stays on this device.
- Tap Pick a student during the lesson; reset the round when everyone's had a go.
Frequently asked questions
Is student data stored safely?
Yes — class lists are saved only in your browser's local storage on your device. Nothing is sent to any server, which keeps it simple and privacy-friendly.
Will my classes still be there tomorrow?
As long as you use the same browser on the same device and don't clear your site data, your saved classes will still be there.
Can I make sure everyone gets picked?
Enable remove student after each pick and the tool works through the whole class before anyone is chosen twice.
