How does it keep teams even?
Everyone is randomly shuffled and then dealt out one at a time across the teams, so the largest and smallest team differ by at most one person.
Can I make teams of a fixed size instead?
Use the Random Groups tool, which splits people into groups of a size you choose.
Is there a limit on group members?
No practical limit — it works with anything from a handful of names to a whole year group.
